Ross, Sinclaire and Associates

Background:
Ross, Sinclaire and Associates (RSA) was a multi-million dollar national financial management and investment firm located in Cincinnati, OH (though recently broken apart as fallout from COVID-19). RSA has an existing logo that they did wanted to maintain, but also wanted to bring their website into the 21st century.

Challenge:
I was tasked with working within the lines of strict regulators in the RSA compliance department to create a user interface capable of both clearly and legally displaying all necessary information in a way that created a positive customer experience.

Solution:
Maneuverability through the site for investment professionals was important, as well as a strict clearness about a user’s location in the site. I created a layout that maintained enough consistency from the old site to avoid disorienting returning visitors and added expanded full navigation to the sidebar on internal pages. A custom text-resizing tool was built into the header on internal pages to ensure that readability and clarity was always at the forefront of the design.

Analysis of analytics from the old site led us to give the Bond Calendar prominent placement, and the Bond Calendar page was given a redesign to make information digestion easier for fast scrolling and tired eyes.
