Constructed from a thrifted wood picture frame, thrifted small nails from a re-use center, thin copper wire taken from a broken microwave’s power transformer, crushed black velvet, multi-surface adhesive, and flat black paint with an intentional brush pattern.
I believe words are cheap but time is money, so I put my money where my mouth is. This piece was constructed as an apology gift and was completed secretly over the course of several months. It built this as a peace offering in the hopes of burying the hatchet with a old friend after an unfortunate series of events eroded our relationship.
