Interstellar Music & Arts Festival 2021

The art director for this festival reached out and kindly expressed that my piece from BLINK 2019 was her favorite from the entire weekend. At her request I made a new version of that piece for a three-day electronic music festival held in Cincinnati, Ohio in August 2021.

Without lighting the first day of the festival the yarn would seem to disappear until the stage lights hit.

 

 
The venue where Interstellar was being held, Riverfront Live in Cincinnati, had bluegrass artist Sam Bush scheduled for the day before the festival. The artist decided to play on the outdoor stage due to COVID-19 fears so the yarn received some additional illumination during his show which resulted in some interesting effects.
