Resonance 2021

Piece was created using three types of yarn, one black and two different patterned varieties. Illuminated at night under UV light, the color experience grows in intensity as you get closer to the stages. The black sections disappear against the night sky while the fluorescent colors pop brightly.

During the day a different effect takes hold. Lighter colors disappear against the bright daytime sky and the black instead vividly contrasts, completely reversing the intensity gradient of the piece during the day.
